About Me

I started in LAUSD in 1996, and in Manual Arts High School in 2019.

I studied at Pasadena City College, Art Center College of Design, Los Angeles City College, Washington University in St. Louis, La Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain, and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelors in Art History and an almost-minor in Biology/Premedical Sciences. I obtained my Masters in Administration at UCLA as well.

I have many interests, including art, gardening, California native plants, cooking, traveling, spending time with family, friends, and pets, to name a few.

I am proud Toiler, honored to serve our Manual Arts students, families, and staff as part of this incredible community of learners, leaders, and citizens.

I am honored to be the Assistant Principal over FPA, Freshman Prep Academy. I welcome our freshman, and look forward to the four-year journey ahead of us. May we grow together every single day.

I work with our English Learners, both international students and those born here. I look forward to their contributions to our school and the learning we will do together.

I supervise the English and ELD Departments, and am so lucky to work with such an amazing group of teachers, support staff, and students.
