School Psychologist - About Me

Hello! I joined the Manual Arts team in 2020. As the school psychologist, I complete assessments to determine how students think and learn, as well as any other needs they may have. I also provide counseling and crisis response services. I primarily work with students who have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

I grew up in the LA area. I went to college at UCLA, where I majored in Psychology and double minored in Education and Child Development. I later received my M.S. in School Psychology from Cal State LA.

Before working as a school psychologist, I worked in a variety of different roles, including working as a service provider at a group home for teens, as a director of an after-school program for middle school students, as an instructional assistant at an elementary school, and as an Early Head Start teacher for infants and toddlers.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, watching bad reality TV shows, and spending time with my partner and our dog, Luna.
